The Military Intelligence and the Popular Mobilization Forces rescued shepherds who were surrounded by a terrorist detachment, and they killed a terrorist in Anbar.
A statement by the Directorate of Military Intelligence stated: It is a joint duty and according to accurate intelligence information of the Fifth Division Division and in cooperation with a force from the Popular Mobilization Forces, the Seventeenth Brigade, the blockade of sheep shepherds besieged by a terrorist detachment was dismantled and one of its elements was killed by the so-called Abu Mujahid belonging to the Shamia desert detachments between Wadi Malsi and Al-Ighri in the Sudanese junction of Al-Ratibah in Anbar governorate.
It added that the shepherds were escorted and brought to a safe place, and the force carrying out the duty launched a search operation in search of the rest of the terrorist elements who fled.
