Media: Six Bombings Overnight in Narathiwat Southern Thailand, Two Injured

Narathiwat: Bombs were detonated at six locations in five districts of the southern border province of Narathiwat, Thailand, on Sunday night, injuring two people, said a media source on Monday. According to Kuwait News Agency, the Bangkok Post, citing the Narathiwat office of the Public Relations Department, reported that the explosions occurred between 7:50 p.m. local time Sunday and 12:30 a.m. Monday in Bacho, Chanae, Cho Airong, Sri Sakhon, and Sungai Padi districts. In response to the incidents, the Thai army increased security measures, focusing particularly on economic areas to ensure the safety and security of the residents and businesses in the affected regions.
