Riyadh: The Saudi Media Forum held a workshop today for judges as part of the second edition of the Saudi Media Innovation Bootcamp (Saudi MIB). The workshop was attended by Chairman of the Saudi Media Forum Mohammed Al-Harthi and was organized within the framework of the forum's business incubators and accelerators program for its fifth edition, scheduled to take place in Riyadh from February 2 to 4, 2026.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi MIB received more than 150 submissions, with initial screening shortlisting over 50 projects to advance to the next stage. The screening process was conducted by PCG Group, the bootcamp's innovation partner. The program is currently in its second evaluation phase, aimed at selecting the most promising and impactful projects in the media sector.
The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) is participating as a knowledge partner, supporting the bootcamp's activities by enhancing the knowledge base and enriching evaluation and development processes for advanced projects. This participation forms part of broader efforts to build a more mature and interconnected media innovation ecosystem that leverages modern technologies.
Now in its second edition, the Saudi MIB has launched with a global identity that blends creativity and technology, highlighting the Kingdom's leadership in shaping a media future grounded in knowledge and innovation. This year, the bootcamp is integrated into the Saudi Media Forum 2026, serving as a global platform that brings together talents and experts from around the world to generate ideas, develop solutions, and establish partnerships that empower the media industry.
