Maysan police revealed a murder that occurred three days ago in the city of Amarah, the center of the governorate, and the perpetrator was arrested.
The Police Command said in a statement, a copy of which was received by the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA), a copy of it: “A security force from the Hattin Crime Control Division was able, following a security operation, according to accurate information, to uncover a mysterious murder, arrest the perpetrator and seize the weapon with which the crime was carried out.”
The Directorate added: “The accused killed his brother while he was asleep, due to disputes that arose between them, indicating that legal measures were taken against him.”
