Valletta: The Russian Foreign Ministry announced on Wednesday that Malta has cancelled an entry visa for its official spokesperson, Maria Zakharova. Zakharova was scheduled to attend a meeting with foreign ministers of the Organization of Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). The Russian ministry expressed its dismay over this unprecedented move by Malta. According to Kuwait News Agency, there has been no official comment from the Maltese authorities regarding the cancellation. Malta, which will assume the OSCE Chairpersonship in 2024, is set to host the 31st Ministerial Council in Valletta this week, on December 5-6.
