Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, on Thursday met with Minister of Administrative Development Fadi Makki, who briefed him on the ongoing process governing appointments to first-category public positions. The meeting reaffirmed the core principles guiding the mechanism: merit, integrity, and transparency.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the President also received MP Haidar Nasser for a discussion on the general situation in northern Lebanon, with particular focus on the city of Tripoli.
