Madinah Welcomes ‘Madinah Winter’ Visitors with Seasonal Events Combining Place Authenticity and Deep History

Madinah: Madinah is welcoming visitors during the mid-year school break through its "Madinah Winter" destinations, offering seasonal experiences that combine the city's key religious sites-including the Prophet's Mosque, Quba Mosque, and Al-Qiblatayn Mosque-with the authenticity of place and deep historical heritage. These experiences are complemented by a variety of cultural, tourism, and recreational activities, all set within a mild winter atmosphere that attracts visitors from within the Kingdom and abroad.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the events include the "Hijrah Exhibit: In the Footsteps of the Prophet," which offers an interactive narration of the Prophet's migration, alongside various cultural programs and sessions that enrich the city's offerings.

The Madinah Winter program also features entertainment and family activities, in addition to sports and community events, including the "Ma'alem Marathon," as well as literary and artistic programs such as poetry camps and cultural sessions highlighting Saudi heritage.

These initiatives aim to boost tourism, enhance seasonal attractions, support the local economy, and improve quality of life, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives to develop the tourism and cultural sectors and diversify tourist offerings.
