Kuwait city: The launch of the eighth rehabilitation workshops festival, "Made by Me 8," on Thursday showcased society's strong belief in the abilities and potential of persons with disabilities across various fields. The event saw significant participation and cooperation among supporting entities, emphasizing their role in empowering this group to achieve greater productivity and integration.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the festival was held under the patronage and in the presence of Ahmadi Governor Sheikh Humoud Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. It featured a range of artistic performances that highlighted the students' talents and their ability to communicate and express themselves in an encouraging and supportive atmosphere.
The event also marked the opening of the first exhibition for productive families of ICAN Foundation students. This initiative reflects the efforts of the Public Authority for Disability Affairs to promote work, self-reliance, and skill development, thereby enabling students' effective participation in society.
