PARIS, Reaching a diplomatic solution to the nuclear deal is “possible and imperative”, said French President Emanuel Macron to his Iranian counterpart Ebrahim Raisi over a phone call Sunday. During the call, the French President told his Iranian counterpart that talks regarding the deal need to accelerate, said French Presidency in a statement. President Macron stressed, “The need for Iran to demonstrate a constructive approach and return to the full implementation of its obligations”.
The two sides also touched on several regional developments, the statement added.
