According to Kuwait News Agency, Ryan Gravenberch opened the scoring in the 10th minute at Anfield stadium, with a finish that set the tone for the match. Gravenberch further contributed by assisting Hugo Ekitike, who doubled Liverpool's lead on the half-hour mark.
Idrissa Gueye, a Senegalese professional footballer and defensive midfielder for Everton, reduced the deficit for the Blues in the second half. Despite Everton's efforts, Liverpool held on to secure victory and maintain their perfect start to the defence of their Premier League title after five games.
The victory raised Liverpool's points tally to 15, placing them at the top of the Premier League standings, while Everton's points remained at seven.
