Tripoli: Mellitah Oil and Gas company, a subsidiary of the Libyan National Oil Corporation (NOC), and the US-based Hill International have finalized an agreement to develop and manage offshore oilfields in Libya. This deal was signed during a meeting between NOC's President Masud Suleiman and US President's Advisor for Africa and Middle East Affairs, Massad Boulos, held in Tripoli.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the agreement highlights the collaborative efforts between Libya and the United States to enhance the development of Libya's offshore oil resources. The discussions during the meeting also included NOC's strategic plans to maintain the production levels of crude oil and natural gas in the country.
