Kuwait city: Lesotho's Ambassador to Kuwait, Manthabiseng Arcylia Phohleli, commended Kuwait's leading role in humanitarian work, describing it as a model that reflects the country's distinguished and compassionate global image.
According to Kuwait News Agency, in a statement following her visit to the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS), where she met with the society's Secretary General Fahad Al-Mandeel, Phohleli stated that the visit aimed to closely explore the society's humanitarian and volunteer programs and investigate possible future cooperation between Kuwait and Lesotho.
Phohleli expressed admiration for KRCS's regional and international efforts in supporting communities affected by disasters and crises. She acknowledged the organization's commitment to providing aid and relief to those in need across the globe.
On his part, Al-Mandeel mentioned that during the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance humanitarian cooperation and reviewed KRCS programs and projects implemented in several countries. He affirmed KRCS's ongoing commitment to building humanitarian partnerships worldwide, expanding its programs, and contributing to sustainable development. Al-Mandeel emphasized that such visits are valuable for sharing expertise and strengthening mutual ties.
