Beirut: The Lebanese Army announced on Thursday that Israeli occupation forces have repeatedly violated the ceasefire agreement. These infractions occurred both on land and through airspace, as confirmed by the army on X, a social media platform.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Lebanese military is actively addressing these breaches by coordinating with the relevant authorities in Lebanon. The violations were reported to have taken place on Wednesday and continued into the following day. In response, the Lebanese government forces commenced deployment south of the Litani River on Wednesday, in collaboration with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
This increased military presence in the southern region aligns with a truce agreement mediated by the United States and France. As stability gradually returns, some civilians have begun to return to their hometowns, particularly those areas that did not suffer extensive damage during the recent conflict with the occupation forces.
