Kuwait City: Namaa Charity, part of the Kuwait Social Reform Society, concluded its "Iftar" project, which benefited more than 12,000 individuals across six Yemeni governorates as part of the 10th "Kuwait is By Your Side" campaign.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Namaa Charity announced in a press release that it collaborated with local Yemeni partners to distribute 9,500 iftar meals and 400 food baskets to families in need in the specified regions. This effort highlights the charity's ongoing commitment to supporting the Yemeni people amidst challenging circumstances.
Saad Al-Otaibi, CEO of Namaa Charity, expressed gratitude to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah for their steadfast support of humanitarian initiatives. He emphasized that the Iftar project is a testament to Namaa's dedication to aiding those facing hardship in Yemen.
Saeed Al-Bahsani, President of the Hadramout Foundation for Development, commended Namaa Charity for its efforts in assisting those in need, citing the embodiment of humanitarian values. Additionally, Dr. Jamal Al-Faqih, Director of the Hattin Foundation, noted the project's significant impact in the targeted governorates and expressed appreciation for the relief and aid provided by the charity.
