Kuwait’s Namaa Charity Provides Iftar to Over 10,000 in Gaza

Kuwait: Kuwait's Namaa Charity, affiliated with the Social Reform Society (SRS), has announced the successful implementation of its "Iftar for the Fasting" project in Gaza through the "Gaza Takiyas" initiative. The project has provided iftar meals to over 10,000 individuals in Gaza over the past three days of Ramadan.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Namaa's Executive Vice President, Abdulaziz Al-Kandari, shared in a Monday press statement that the initiative has been vital in addressing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where rising needs, food shortages, and lack of resources are prevalent. The field teams have been managing daily distributions through more than 10 takiyas in the hardest-hit areas.

Al-Kandari stated that the charity aims to operate over 60 takiyas throughout Ramadan, as part of a broader relief plan to reach as many affected families as possible. The humanitarian situation in Gaza is dire, with many families suffering from loss of income and increased needs. The high demand for the takiyas underscores the severity of the crisis and the urgent need for continued support.

The "Gaza Takiyas" project is designed to provide fresh iftar meals daily, helping to maintain the dignity of those fasting and alleviate the harsh living conditions they face. The number of beneficiaries in the past three days has exceeded 10,000, highlighting the significant needs on the ground.

Al-Kandari has called on philanthropists and supporters to continue backing the iftar projects in Gaza, stressing that their contributions are crucial in securing meals for deprived families and offering solidarity and hope amid challenging circumstances. He reaffirmed the charity's dedication to its humanitarian mission, committing to use its resources to support the most vulnerable.
