Kuwait City: Kuwait's consulate general in Saudi Arabia's Red Sea city of Jeddah on Thursday ushered in celebrations marking Kuwait's 64th Independence Day and 34th Liberation Day, respectively, bringing together a bevy of diplomats.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Kuwaiti consulate general in Jeddah extended its well wishes to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah over the joyous occasion, as announced by Consul General Yousef Al-Taneeb.
The Kuwaiti diplomat, who also serves as permanent delegate to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, praised his country's ties with Saudi Arabia, which have grown exponentially across various fields. He underlined the importance of these relations and expressed his hopes for continued cooperation and mutual development.
He went on to wish that Kuwait would remain firmly on the path towards development and prosperity, ahead of the national holidays, reflecting the aspirations of the Kuwaiti leadership and its people.
