Kuwait city: First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah received President of the Qatari and Arab Police Sports Federations Major General Khalid Al-Attiyah on Monday. Chairman of Kuwait's Police Sports Federation, Brigadier General Mubarak Ali Yousef Al Sabah, was also present during the meeting.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Al-Sabah praised Major General Khalid Al-Attiyah and acknowledged the role of the Federations in supporting and organizing sports activities among Arab policing bodies. The officials explored avenues to enhance cooperation in the field of police sports, as mentioned in a statement released by the ministry.
In addition, Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Al-Sabah met with acting Head of the Liaison Department of the Arab and International Police Union, First Lieutenant Alyaa Meshal Fahad. She presented her book on military training and development for female trainees in Kuwait. The Minister commended her efforts and emphasized the Ministry of Interior's commitment to empowering women, improving their professional and athletic skills, and enhancing their role in security and police work.
