KUWAIT CITY: Today marks a series of significant milestones in Kuwait's history, highlighting pivotal moments in the country's political, social, and military spheres. From appointments of key political figures to advancements in international relations, these events have shaped Kuwait's trajectory over the decades. According to Kuwait News Agency, in 1965, Kuwait Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah appointed Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as Prime Minister, marking a crucial moment in the nation's leadership. Nine years later, in 1974, the foundation of the Kuwait United Poultry Company signaled a step forward in the country's agricultural development. In a somber remembrance, 1978 saw the passing of former MP Hassan Johar Hayat at the age of 68. Tragedy struck in 2004 when the Kuwait Army announced the martyrdom of non-commissioned officers and their trainer due to an accidental explosion of a rocket-propelled grenade during a training exercise.
