Kuwait City: A series of significant events have marked Kuwait's history on this day, highlighting the nation's growth and resilience over the years. From cultural advancements to international recognitions, Kuwait has continued to shape its legacy.

According to Kuwait News Agency, on this day in 1964, a museum dedicated to Failaka Island relics was inaugurated in the summerhouse of Sheikh Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. This marked a cultural milestone for Kuwait, preserving and showcasing the nation's rich heritage.

In 1991, a pivotal moment occurred when Kuwait Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah signed a decree to establish the Public Authority for Assessment of compensations for the damages caused by Iraq's invasion. This authority, affiliated with the Council of Ministers, was a crucial step in addressing the aftermath of the invasion.

Two years later, in 1993, the UN Security Council unanimously adopted Resolution 833, concerning the demarcation of borders between Kuwait and Iraq. This resolution played a vital role in maintaining peace and stability in the region.

The year 1994 saw Kuwait exporting its first shipment of liquid ammonia, totaling 15,040 metric tons, to India. This was a significant achievement following the reconstruction of the petrochemical sector, which had been severely damaged during the Iraqi occupation.

In 2024, the Health Ministry opened a Dialysis Center in the Ali Sabah Al-Salem area, reflecting Kuwait's ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare services for its citizens. Additionally, the nation bid farewell to former Minister of Commerce and Industry Faisal Abdulrazzaq Al-Khaled, who passed away at the age of 79 after a distinguished career.
