The Popular Theatrical Troupe launched its inaugural season with the plays "Matar Saif" and "Ummak Teraz Awal." In 1961, Kuwait witnessed the presentation of credentials by John Richmond, the first British Ambassador to Kuwait, to the Amir Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah.
According to Kuwait News Agency, that same year, the authorities divided Kuwait into 10 constituencies, enabling citizens to vote for two parliamentary hopefuls in each one, leading to the establishment of the Constituent Assembly with 20 members. Fast forward to 1992, Kuwait agreed to join the 1987 Montreal Protocol on substances that deplete the ozone layer, marking a commitment to environmental conservation.

Most recently, in 2024, the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development and Mongolia signed a USD 80,000 deal to fund a study on developing Ondorkhaan Airport, indicating Kuwait's ongoing commitment to international collaboration and development.
