Kuwait city: Kuwait's pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, titled "Visionary Lighthouse," has been awarded the Silver Award at BrandEx 2026 for Architecture, Best Thematic Exhibition. Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services at the Ministry of Information, Salem Al-Watyan, described the accolade as a global achievement.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Watyan emphasized that the award reflects the continued support from the political leadership and aligns with the ministry's strategy to enhance high-quality international participation. This initiative aims to deepen Kuwait's cultural and media presence at significant global events, thereby building a positive image of the country. Al-Watyan noted that the ministry's goal for Kuwait's Expo 2025 pavilion is to set a leading example of using culture and media to support national goals, strengthen international partnerships, and spotlight Kuwait's future vision in culture, education, and sustainability. He reiterated that the ministry will continue to support well-planned and impactful international participation to reinforce its strategy and strengthen Kuwait's position on the global cultural and media map.
