Kuwait’s Commitment to Youth Highlighted at Marrakech Event

Kuwait city: Kuwait's participation in the "Marrakech: Capital of Youth in the Islamic World 2025" event underscores its commitment to addressing youth-related issues within the Islamic world, as stated by a Kuwaiti official on Tuesday. This involvement signals Kuwait's dedication to fostering a prosperous and sustainable future steered by the youth.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the statement was made by Nasser Al-Shaikh, the Acting Director General of Kuwait's Public Authority for Youth. Al-Shaikh, representing the Minister of Information and Culture and the Minister of State for Youth Affairs, was present at the opening ceremony of the event. He highlighted the significance of such initiatives in enhancing dialogue and cooperation among the youth across the Islamic world.

Al-Shaikh expressed his congratulations to Morocco for being designated as the 2025 Islamic World Youth Capital by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). He extended his best wishes for the successful organization of activities that support and empower youth. The event in Marrakech gathers delegations from OIC member states and various Arab and Islamic organizations, with a comprehensive agenda focused on fostering solidarity, dialogue, and skill development among the youth in the Islamic world.
