Kuwait City: The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced on Thursday the suspension of work across all ministries, governmental bodies, and public institutions for the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, which will be determined based on the first day of Eid.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the CSC stated that if Eid Al-Fitr begins on Sunday, March 30, the official holidays will span three days, from Sunday, March 30, to Tuesday, April 1, with work resuming on Wednesday, April 2.
If the first day of Eid falls on Monday, March 31, the holiday will extend to five days, beginning from Sunday, March 30, and continuing through Thursday, April 3. In this scenario, work will resume on Sunday, April 6.
The CSC also noted that state agencies with a special nature will set their own holiday schedules, taking the public interest into account.
