Lima: The Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Brazil, Talal Al-Mansour, has officially presented his credentials as the non-resident ambassador to the Republic of Peru to President Dina Boluarte. The ceremony took place at the presidential palace in Lima, marking a significant moment in the diplomatic relations between the two nations.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Kuwaiti Embassy in Brazil released a statement highlighting that Ambassador Mansour conveyed greetings and best wishes from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah to President Boluarte and the people of Peru during the ceremony. As part of the occasion, the Peruvian Ministry released a commemorative stamp. Minister Salcedo praised the robust bilateral relations and acknowledged Kuwait's role in enhancing these ties.
Ambassador Al-Mansour, in his address, emphasized the solid foundation of Kuwaiti-Peruvian relations, which began in 1975. He highlighted the mutual respect and shared interests that have characterized the relationship and noted the rapid development in recent years, especially following the Peruvian foreign minister's visit to Kuwait last April.
Al-Mansour further expressed that the golden jubilee celebration of diplomatic relations underscores the commitment of both nations to explore new cooperation avenues, benefiting the shared interests and aspirations of their people.
