Kuwait’s Adel Al-Gharib Elected Asian Squash Federation VP for 2025-2029


Kuwait City: Adel Al-Gharib, a board member of the Kuwait Squash Federation, has been elected as the Vice President of the Asian Squash Federation for the 2025-2029 term. This development occurred during the 22nd Asian Junior Championship held in Hong Kong, attended by representatives from 27 member countries.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Gharib expressed in a press statement on Sunday that assuming the new role comes with a significant responsibility. He emphasized his commitment to advancing the sport of squash across Asia and on a global scale. Al-Gharib plans to focus on organizing Asian tournaments throughout his term.

Al-Gharib has a substantial history in the sport of squash, having held numerous sports leadership positions and managed various international tournaments in Kuwait. His background as a player is also notable, having represented Salmiya Club and the Kuwait national team in many Gulf, Arab, and international championships.
