Kuwait’s Abdullah Al-Salem University Sets Application Dates for 2025/2026 Second Semester

Kuwait city: Abdullah Al-Salem University (AASU) announced on Sunday that the application period for the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year would run from December 9 to 14.

According to Kuwait News Agency, AASU stated in a press release that the online application system for Kuwaiti students, who meet the admission requirements, would be accessible from December 9 to 14 at https://admissions.aasu.edu.kw. The admission requirements are detailed in the online admissions guide, and AASU emphasized the need for activating the authenticator in the "Kuwait Mobile ID" application to access accounts on the system. The application period will conclude on December 14 at 1:00 PM.

AASU further noted that students from private schools must upload the necessary documents to the system by December 11. Failure to submit these documents will result in the disqualification of the application. Additionally, students who obtained their high school diploma outside of Kuwait must provide their original diploma and private education equivalency document to the Admissions and Registration Deanship by December 11.

The University stated that non-Kuwaiti applicants who meet the criteria outlined in the admissions guide could apply from December 16 to 18. These students must submit their original high school diploma to the Admissions and Registration Deanship at the Al-Khalidiya campus, Gate 1.

A three-day schedule has been assigned for different applicant categories. The first day is designated for students from GCC countries who graduated from the unified curriculum in Kuwait and for honor students with a grade of 97 percent or higher. The second day is for children and spouses of faculty members, academic staff, and university employees, as well as honor students with a grade of 95 percent or higher. The final day is open to all applicants wishing to register, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. local time.

Students graduating from English secondary schools who wish to enroll must visit the Admissions Office within two business days following the announcement of results, bringing their original diplomas. Applicants are reminded that withdrawal from the university or cancellation of admission must be done in person by the student, not by the guardian.
