Kuwait’s 2026-2030 Strategy to Elevate Media Presence

Kuwait city: Kuwaiti Minister of Information, Culture and State Minister for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi affirmed on Sunday that the Ministry's 2026-2030 strategy would promote Kuwait's regional and international standing in media and culture. Speaking while receiving participants in the first training workshop on the strategy, Al-Mutairi stated that this strategy is being developed through a participatory and interactive approach involving both ministry officials and volunteers, aiming to produce an integrated media future vision.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the vision reflects the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. Al-Mutairi emphasized the significance of this workshop, noting that an idea could become a pioneering project in the future, highlighting the team's vital role and keenness on shaping the direction of Kuwaiti media for the upcoming phase.

The meeting is part of a series of workshops and participatory sessions organized by the Ministry to prepare the 2026-2030 strategy, which aims to modernize Kuwait's media sector.
