Kuwait’s 11th Relief Planeload Departs to Gaza

Kuwait city: The 11th relief plane of the second Kuwaiti air bridge departed Sunday, carrying 10 tons of food aid to Al-Arish Airport in Egypt, en route to the Gaza Strip. The aircraft took off from Abdullah Al-Mubarak Air Base as part of the "Relief for Gaza" campaign, organized by Kuwait Red Crescent Society with Kuwaiti charities and coordinated with relevant ministries.

According to Kuwait News Agency, KRCS Chairman Khaled Al-Mughamis stated that the Society remains committed to delivering humanitarian support to Gaza, under the directives of Kuwait's leadership, in response to the worsening humanitarian situation. He noted that KRCS is working closely with the Ministries of Social Affairs, Foreign Affairs, and Defense, as well as Kuwait's Embassy in Egypt and the Egyptian Red Crescent, to ensure smooth aid delivery.

Al-Mughamis expressed gratitude to Kuwait's leadership for directing official bodies to cooperate and ease logistics, ensuring the urgent humanitarian aid reaches the Palestinian people affected by the ongoing crisis. To date, the second Kuwaiti air bridge has delivered 200 tons of locally produced food aid to Gaza, coordinated with Kuwait Flour Mills and Bakeries Company to support affected families.
