Manama: The Kuwait youth handball team secured a silver medal on Thursday after a narrow defeat by Saudi Arabia with a final score of 28-29 in the third Asian Youth Games.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Bahrain is hosting the tournament, which features over 5,000 male and female athletes from 45 Asian National Olympic Committees. These athletes are competing in 24 sports, 31 categories, and 253 events.
The Kuwaiti delegation is composed of 75 male and female athletes who are participating in 14 different sports. These sports include swimming, trampoline, athletics, badminton, table tennis, golf, equestrian jumping and endurance, handball, judo, teqball, taekwondo, muay thai, and jiu-jitsu.
