Kuwaiti Trap Team Grabs Gold in Asian Shooting Finals

Kuwait city: Kuwait's trap team shot its way to a gold medal on Tuesday in the men's trap shooting finals of the Asian championship in Qatar, which runs until January 21. The team's Abdurrahman Al-Faihan, Khaled Al-Mudhaf, and Nasser Al-Miqlid topped the category, with Qatar coming second and the UAE third.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Faihan also snatched bronze in the singles event, as did the women's team of Shahad and Sarah Al-Hawal and Reem Al-Zamanan. Some 196 shooters from 17 nations are vying for supremacy in the Doha-hosted Asian Shotgun Championships 2026, currently being held at the Lusail Shooting Complex. The competition kicked off last week.
