Amman: Kuwaiti students have secured a commendable tally of four medals, comprising one silver and three bronze, at the 10th Arab Chemistry Olympiad currently taking place in Amman, Jordan. The event, which gathers representatives from 11 Arab nations, is set to conclude tomorrow.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Haifa Al-Adwani, the supervisor of chemistry at the Kuwaiti Ministry of Education, confirmed the students' achievements. Ali Behbehani, a grade 12 student from the Academy Of Giftedness, earned a bronze medal. The other bronze medalists are Hala Al-Rashidi from Al-Rawdha High School, Zahraa Al-Haddad from Tolaitelah High School, and Ibrahim Al-Rashidi from Mohammad Najm High School.
Al-Adwani credited the success of the Kuwaiti students to the Ministry of Education's ongoing efforts to nurture the skills of gifted students. She highlighted the ministry's commitment to ensuring the prominent performance of students in both regional and international competitions.
