Kuwait City: The third relief plane from Kuwait has departed for Syria, marking another significant step in the "Kuwait by Your Side" campaign. This plane, organized by Kuwait's Health Ministry and the Red Crescent in collaboration with the Ministries of Social Affairs, Foreign Affairs, and Defense, is part of a broader effort to provide much-needed support to Syria.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the plane carried 35 tons of aid and medical supplies to Damascus International Airport, underscoring Kuwait's commitment to humanitarian efforts. Dr. Ibrahim Al-Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Relief Society, highlighted that the endeavor reflects Kuwait's dedication to aiding Arab and Islamic nations in need.
Eng. Jamal Al-Nouri, the treasurer of the Kuwait Relief Society, explained that the aid aims to support Syrian citizens in achieving social stability by supplying essential daily necessities. He acknowledged the coordinated efforts of various Kuwaiti bodies, including the Ministry of Defense and other governmental ministries, in organizing this humanitarian mission.
The role of Kuwaiti charitable associations and organizations as partners in this initiative was also emphasized, showcasing the collaborative spirit of Kuwaiti popular and institutional efforts in assisting those in need across the region.
