Doha: The Kuwaiti auto and motorcycle clubs achieved strong results on Saturday in the second round of the Qatar Drag Racing Championship held in the Qatari capital.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Kuwaiti racer Hussein Al-Bloushi secured first place in the 10.0-Index category, while Rumaih Al-Rumaih also clinched first in the 9.0-index, with Mohammad Zaman finishing third. In the 4.8-index category, Hussein Al-Maqseed achieved a third-place finish.
Racers from Bassel car race club also performed well, with Abdulaziz Saleh taking second place in the 4.5-index section, while Nawaf Al-Khaldi also achieved a second-place finish. In the 9.0-index competition, Badr Al-Fodari secured second place, while in the 8.5-bike competition, Abdullah Al-Ansari finished first and Mohammad Karam second. In the super street category, Turki Al-Humaidi came first, and in the street bike category, Abdullah Al-Ansari claimed third place.
The championship, which began in February, consists of five rounds.
