Rabat: Kuwait's Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) Director General Sheikh Humoud Mubarak Al-Humoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah met with Morocco's Minister of Transport and Logistics Abdessamad Kayouh to discuss boosting cooperation in civil aviation.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting focused on expanding air operations between the two countries to improve air connectivity, service efficiency, and safety and security standards.
The discussions included exchanging technical expertise, cooperating in training and capacity building, and aligning positions in regional and international aviation forums to support sector growth and sustainability. Both parties expressed their commitment to deepening bilateral ties and activating joint cooperation frameworks in response to rapid developments in the aviation industry, aiming to fortify Arab integration in this vital sector.
Sheikh Humoud expressed gratitude to Morocco for its technical support during an International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) audit of aviation safety procedures, recognizing it as a testament to the strong historical ties between the two nations.
