Kuwait city: The Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Shuraian, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Major General Abdulwahab Al-Waheeb, and Undersecretary of the Kuwait National Guard (KNG) Lieutenant General Hamad Al-Barjas attended the conclusion of the joint exercise "Raiyat Watan." This exercise involved the Kuwaiti Army, the Ministry of Interior, and the National Guard.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Ministry of Defense stated in a press release that the exercise aimed to improve joint operational capabilities and readiness levels among military and security institutions. The focus was on enhancing command and control concepts, improving coordination and integration, and ensuring effective decision-making through scenarios simulating operational challenges.
The ministry further explained that the exercise included several field and command drills using live ammunition. These drills emphasized unified command procedures, accelerated information exchange, and improved coordination among the participating units.
During the closing ceremony, senior officials assessed the implementation stages, overall evaluation results, and performance levels demonstrated by the participating forces. These assessments reflected the effectiveness of joint security operations.
Exercise Director Brigadier General Barak Al-Farhan provided a detailed briefing on the exercise phases, objectives, command mechanisms, key lessons learned, and evaluation outcomes.
Lieutenant General Al-Shuraian highlighted that such joint exercises are crucial for unifying operational concepts and procedures, strengthening integration among military and security bodies, and enhancing harmony between participating agencies.
