Kuwaiti Official Announces IIHF Approval for 2026 Ice Hockey World Cup Logo

Kuwait city: The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) has officially approved the logo for the 2026 Ice Hockey World Cup (Division IV), set to be hosted by Kuwait in April. The logo, which reflects Kuwait's national identity, was confirmed by Kuwait Winter Games Club President Fehaid Al-Ajmi.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Ajmi stated that the logo features a Kuwaiti player in national attire holding the country's flag. It prominently displays the names of both Kuwait and the championship. This event marks the second time Kuwait will host the Ice Hockey World Cup.

Al-Ajmi further detailed the club's preparations for the championship, which will include six teams: Singapore, Armenia, Iran, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the host nation, Kuwait. An ambitious plan has been laid out to prepare the "Blue" players to showcase their skills at the highest level.

He also expressed gratitude for the substantial support from Minister of Information and Culture, and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, in addition to the backing from the Public Authority for Sport to host this significant international event.
