Amman: The Kuwaiti national volleyball team defeated Bahrain 3-0 in the Arab Men's Challenge Cup currently being held in Amman, Jordan. The Kuwaiti team dominated all three sets, winning the first 25-19, the second 25-20, and the third 26-24.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the head of the Kuwaiti delegation, Jassem Al-Failakawi, commented after the match that the team delivered a strong performance against its Bahraini counterpart. He emphasized that despite injuries and player absences, the team achieved the victory.
He added that the team controlled the match from the outset with an aggressive style of play and effective positioning throughout all three sets, which showed its firm determination and resolve to secure the victory. The Kuwaiti team is set to play against the Egyptian national team next Friday, seeking another victory to boost its chances and improve its ranking in the tournament.
