Kuwait city: Kuwait's National Padel teams secured victories on the second day of the 2025 Arabian Gulf Padel Championship, hosted by Qatar. The tournament, which began yesterday, saw the Kuwaiti team triumph in all rounds of their matches. According to Kuwait News Agency, the Kuwaiti women's team achieved a decisive 3-0 victory against the Qatari team. Similarly, the junior team mirrored this success with a 3-0 win over Bahrain. The men's team completed the sweep with a 3-0 victory against Oman. The tournament features three main categories: men's, women's, and juniors, highlighting the increasing popularity of Padel in the region. The format of the competition is a league style for each category, requiring each team to play three matches, with two wins necessary to secure the round. Organized by the Qatar Tennis, Squash, Padel and Badminton Federation, the event is taking place at the Padel Inn courts in Aspire and will continue until September 19.
