Kuwaiti Ministry of Information Unveils Strategic Plan for 2026-2030

Kuwait city: Kuwaiti Minister of Information, Culture and State Minister for Youth Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi announced that the Ministry's new strategy for the years 2026-2030 is founded on the progress achieved in recent years, emphasizing the significance of the participatory approach adopted by the ministry in its development.

According to Kuwait News Agency, this statement was issued by the Ministry of Information following a meeting between Minister Al-Mutairi, the ministry's leaders, and the strategy team, attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Dr. Nasser Muhaisen. Minister Al-Mutairi remarked that this plan translates the state's leadership vision and implements its development agenda.

During the meeting, an initial presentation outlined the methodology for preparing the new strategy, which is scheduled to be launched soon. The Minister highlighted that the tangible achievements in the media sector over the past four years resulted from executing the ministry's current strategy (2021-2026).

He emphasized that the upcoming phase will transition from challenges to opportunities through an integrated vision and a clear practical methodology. The methodology is structured into four main stages: identifying future directions through in-depth studies and research, formulating measurable objectives and performance indicators, developing executable strategic initiatives, and preparing operational plans and timetables to ensure effective implementation.

Minister Al-Mutairi underscored that the next stage will involve extensive discussions with ministry employees and partners from the private sector, civil society, and citizens. He stressed the importance of coordination and communication across all sectors of the ministry to achieve the necessary integration and ensure the accomplishment of the ministry's future objectives.

He also expressed appreciation for the efforts made by the strategy preparation team and their dedication to involving various sectors and relevant parties in shaping the directions of Kuwaiti media for the forthcoming phase.
