Kuwaiti Minister Reaffirms Commitment to Water Security and Sustainability


Jeddah: The State of Kuwait remains committed to supporting and exchanging views on regional and international efforts to protect water security and environmental sustainability, Minister of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, Acting Minister of State for Economic Affairs Dr. Sabeeh Al-Mukhaizeem said on Wednesday.



According to Kuwait News Agency, Minister Al-Mukhaizeem made this statement on the sidelines of the fifth session of the Islamic Conference of Ministers Responsible for Water in the OIC Member States held in Jeddah. He emphasized Kuwait’s focus on diversifying its resources, including water, as part of its Vision 2035 development plan.



The conference, which spans three days, is dedicated to discussions on enhancing collaboration in water resource management. The theme of this conference is “From Vision to Impact,” underscoring the importance of translating strategic plans into tangible actions.
