San francisco: Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity announced that ten Kuwaiti innovators are heading to Silicon Valley to participate in the Plug and Play accelerator program in San Francisco. This initiative is powered by SACGC, a subsidiary of Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS).
According to Kuwait News Agency, the ten-day program offers participants an opportunity to collaborate with entrepreneurs, experts, academics, and investors from around the world. The aim is to empower innovation across corporations, startups, and universities. The SACGC statement highlighted the program's focus on developing skills through brainstorming business models, investment strategies, and product market adequacy, particularly in the US market.
Participants are expected to present their projects in areas such as education, health, food and water security, energy, environment, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation. These presentations will be made to decision-makers and investors on Demo Day, which marks the program's conclusion.
The SACGC expressed its best wishes for the participants and reaffirmed its commitment to helping national talents access global markets and explore new innovation opportunities.
