Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry Welcomes Kuala Lumpur Peace Agreement Between Thailand And Cambodia

Kuwait city: The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry has expressed its approval of the Kuala Lumpur peace agreement between Thailand and Cambodia. The ministry views this development as a crucial move toward resolving the ongoing frontier conflict between the two nations.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority recently organized a ceremony to mark the inauguration of the new Control Tower and Third Runway at Kuwait International Airport. This event was held under the patronage and in the presence of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.

In another development, Dr. Sabeeh Al-Mukhaizeem, the Minister of Finance and Acting Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment, emphasized the importance of the government e-project, TSDEED. He described it as one of the Ministry of Finance's key digital transformation initiatives.

In Cairo, the Kuwaiti Office for Charitable Projects launched a relief convoy to Gaza. The convoy consists of 33 trucks filled with food baskets and essential supplies, donated by Kuwait's Zakat House.

Additionally, the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) signed two grant agreements with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). These agreements, worth USD 5.7 million, are part of Kuwait's ongoing support for humanitarian efforts in Sudan and Chad.

Kuwait-based Namaa charity has begun implementing the first phase of a relief aid project in the north of the Gaza Strip. The project aims to provide safe and fully-equipped shelter for Palestinians in need.
