KUWAIT CITY: Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya met with Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Zhang Ming. The meeting occurred during the Fourth High-Level Conference on "Enhancing International Cooperation in Combating Terrorism and Building Resilient Border Security Mechanisms - Kuwait Stage of the Dushanbe Process," hosted in Kuwait on November 4 and 5, 2024. According to Kuwait News Agency, the discussions focused on strengthening the partnership between Kuwait and the SCO. Both parties explored methods to bolster international efforts in combating terrorism, criminal activities, and drug trafficking. They also addressed strategies to support international peace and security, emphasizing regional and international cooperation.
