Cairo: A number of Kuwaiti entities participating in the 19th Kuwaiti Week in Egypt on Wednesday emphasized the significance of this year's event due to the size and diversity of participation from both countries, as well as their role in enhancing cooperation between Kuwait and Egypt in various fields. According to Kuwait News Agency, the Ministry of Information participated with a large pavilion for the external media sector, showcasing a range of its publications, both paper and digital, to introduce the Egyptian public to Kuwait's latest media achievements. Alaa Al-Mutawa, responsible for the Ministry's pavilion, stated that this participation aims to present recent achievements in Kuwaiti media, culture, and folk arts, facilitating an exchange of experiences and information with other entities present at the event. Al-Mutawa highlighted the variety of publications displayed, including those from the "Babtain Central Library," the "Kuwait Research and Studies Center," and the "Red Crescent Society." Me anwhile, Mohammad Al-Nafisi from the Ministry of Oil's Public Relations Department noted their focus on showcasing the Ministry's progress in artificial intelligence and digital transformation, indicating that the era of paper has ended, with communication now conducted via the Internet and modern technology. This participation aims to enable an exchange of ideas and information with the Egyptian oil sector. Regarding the Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC), the company's regional director, Abdulaziz Al-Moussawi, highlighted their commitment to enhancing cooperation with the Egyptian petroleum sector and expanding exploration activities in Egypt. He emphasized this participation as part of broader efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation in industry, oil, and investment, praising the extensive participation of Kuwaiti bodies and institutions.
