Kuwait city: Kuwaiti Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Acting Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment Dr. Subaih Abdulaziz Al-Mukhaizeem met with Charg© d'Affaires at the US Embassy in Kuwait, Steven R. Butler, to discuss boosting bilateral cooperation.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the two sides explored collaboration in electricity, water, and renewable energy, reviewed technical and investment partnerships, and considered future joint projects.
Al-Mukhaizeem emphasized the strategic ties between Kuwait and the United States, expressing the ministry's commitment to exchanging expertise and supporting Kuwait's energy transition.
Butler acknowledged Kuwait's efforts in developing its water and power sectors and affirmed his country's readiness to deepen cooperation.
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Dr. Adel Al-Zamel, also attended the meeting.
