Kuwait City: The Kuwaiti crude oil price experienced a decrease of 21 cents during Friday's trading session, settling at USD 79.15 per barrel, down from USD 79.36 per barrel the previous day, as reported by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Saturday.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the decline in Kuwaiti crude oil prices coincided with fluctuations in global oil markets. Brent futures experienced a drop of USD 2.05, reaching a price of USD 74.43 per barrel. Similarly, West Texas Intermediate saw a decrease of USD 2.08, closing at USD 70.40 per barrel.
These changes reflect ongoing volatility in the oil market, impacting various crude oil benchmarks. The pricing adjustments are indicative of broader market trends and economic factors influencing supply and demand on a global scale.
