Kuwaiti-Chinese Military Cooperation Marks New Milestone

Kuwait city: Kuwaiti-Chinese relations have been identified as a pivotal path toward military cooperation, as stated by Kuwait's Ministry of Defense Undersecretary, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Mishal Al-Sabah. Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation with friendly countries during a celebration held by the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Kuwait, marking the 98th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Sheikh Abdullah highlighted that Kuwait's Ministry of Defense's participation in the event underscores the robust relations between Kuwait and China, particularly in military cooperation. He also mentioned ongoing joint projects with China, including the establishment of a medium and light ammunition factory, which is set to open soon.

Sheikh Abdullah further explained that cooperation between Kuwait and China extends to strategic areas at the state level. This includes major infrastructure projects like Mubarak Al-Kabeer Port and various housing initiatives. Additionally, he noted the annual expansion of training cooperation between the two countries.

Liu Xiang, the Charg© d'Affaires of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China to Kuwait, echoed similar sentiments. He expressed China's commitment to working with Kuwait and other friendly nations to pursue peaceful development, uphold the UN-centered international order, practice multilateralism, and build a community with a shared future for mankind.
