Kuwait city: The Kuwaiti Association for Needy Families has announced an initiative to allocate KD 71,000 (USD 231,447) to assist families in dire financial situations, particularly those struggling with debt. This effort is part of the association's commitment to enhancing humanitarian efforts within the State of Kuwait, aiming to alleviate the financial strain on its citizens.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the initiative was unveiled during a gathering sponsored by the Ministry of Social Affairs, with direct oversight by Undersecretary Dr. Khaled Amer al-Ajmi. The event saw participation from board members, underscoring the importance of social solidarity and reinforcing the longstanding tradition of community support among Kuwaitis.
Badr Hamad Al-Mubarak, chairman of the association, emphasized that the initiative aims to strengthen social security by supporting all segments of the population. This effort is being carried out in coordination with various state ministries, which have been facilitating the necessary administrative procedures efficiently.
He further stated that the association is dedicated to executing the government's and political leadership's directives related to social security. The ongoing efforts reflect the association's commitment to fostering a supportive environment for all citizens.
