Manama: The Kuwaiti champion Mohammad Al-Zaidan came top in the preliminary round of the Bahrain Motorcycle Championship Race (600-cc) held at Bahrain International Circuit. According to Kuwait News Agency, his fellow citizen, Ali Bou-shehri came third, thus the result proved the pair are robust competitors in the 2025-2026 season. Sheikh Sabah Dawood Al-Sabah, the director of Kuwait Motor and Motorcycle Sports Club, expressed congratulations to the Kuwaiti winners and praised well-organized preparations for the race. The race kicked off with the participation of 19 motorcyclists, including eight riders in the category 1000-cc and 11 in the 600-cc section. The competition is now in the second phase, with the third round due on November 21. The season will resume next year with the fourth round on January 10, the fifth on February 6, the sixth on March 13, before concluding on April 24.
