Doha: Kuwaiti champion Abdulaziz Al-Sarraf claimed first place in the Micro MAX competition during the fifth round of the 2024/2025 Bahrain Rotax MAX Challenge (BRMC) at the Bahrain International Karting Circuit (BIKC). According to Kuwait News Agency, a statement from the circuit revealed that Tariq Sufi, who initially led the competition, received a 10-second time penalty from the judges. This penalty led to his drop to second place, allowing Al-Sarraf to rise to the top position. Al-Sarraf completed the race with a time of nine minutes and 19 seconds. The Bahrain Rotax MAX Challenge is scheduled to continue with its sixth round on January 24, followed by the final rounds on February 8 and 21.
